Many thermal power facilities have been built from scratch based on the institute’s designs. Over the entire period of the institute’s activities since its founding, more than 100 power plants have been built, expanded and reconstructed based on its projects both in Kazakhstan and abroad (Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Cuba, Vietnam), including including: − 87 turbine units with a total capacity of 5,896 MW, − 114 power boilers with a total steam capacity of 30.06 thousand t/h, − 84 hot water boilers with a total thermal capacity of more than 8.34 thousand Gcal/h, − 1,860 km of main and distribution lines heating networks, − 129,694.65 thousand m3 of ash and slag dumps.
